Peaches Geldof marries US rocker

Bob Geldof's teenage daughter Peaches has matrimonial her American rocker
swain at a Las Vegas wedding chapel, her spokesman said today.

The 19-year-old tied the knot last week with Max Drummey, 23, a member of the
indie band Chester French, in a "elementary, low-key ceremony" while on holiday
in the United States.

"Peaches and Max Drummey are delighted to announce their very happy marriage,"
her publicist aforementioned in a statement. "(They) did not want unnecessary
publicity, just following growing media speculation, have distinct to sic out
the facts."

The bride wore a cream dress and the stableboy kept his sunglasses on during the
15-minute ceremony at the Little White Chapel, according to a report in the

The couple's statement contained several plugs for Drummey's band, prompting
one newspaper to speculate that the event may own been an elaborate
promotion stunt.

The second girl of Bob Geldof and the former TV presenter Paula Yates,
Peaches has worked as a model, DJ and singer. She is a regular fastness in
the tabloids, often pictured approach out of fashionable nightclubs.

Her publiciser said she met Drummey, a Harvard anthropology calibrate, two age
ago.

U23D breaks box office records

'U23D', the first live-action motion picture of all time shooter, produced and exhibited in digital three-D, has broken box seat function records in Irish Republic.
U2's concert plastic film had the highest cRT screen average (€11,192) of any photographic film performing in Eire finis weekend and took in €89,538 from exactly eight picture palace screens in its first tercet years.
Justin Marciano, Managing Director of Revolver Amusement which is distributing the celluloid in Eire and the UK said: "This weekend's proceeds for the film prove that at that place is an enormous appetence for this sort of filmmaking."
He added: "We're eagre to see how it grows in scope as more audiences see this pace forward in 3D engineering."
Filmed in South America during U2's 'Vertigo Tour', 'U23D' was directed by Catherine Jesse Owens, U2's visual message music director for more than 15 years, and Score Pellington, wHO directed U2's 'One' video.

Brad Pitt is in talks to star in 'Tree of Life', the new drama from legendary director Terrence Malick.
Variety reports that if Pitt signs up for 'Tree of Life' he would replace Heath Ledger, who was scheduled to star opposite Sean Penn in the Malick film.
Malick's other films include 'Days of Heaven' and 'The Thin Red Line'.
Production on 'Tree of Life' is due to begin in the spring.
